Commencement of Repeated Competitive Bidding Procedure for FAČR Cup Audiovisual Rights Outside the Czech Republic
The Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) repeatedly announces a follow‑up competitive bidding procedure for the audiovisual rights to broadcast FAČR Cup matches outside the Czech Republic.
The license for audiovisual rights outside the Czech Republic is being offered for five seasons, from the ongoing 2024/25 season to the end of 2028/29 season. Through this process, FAČR seeks to engage potential broadcasters and invites all interested entities to submit their offers.
This competitive bidding procedure will also consist of two rounds, with the only evaluation criterion being the offered price. FAČR aims to reach a broad spectrum of entities, whether television broadcasters, streaming platforms, or media companies, to help expand the international presence of Czech football.
The deadline for submitting offers for the first round is set for December 9, 2024.
The bidding conditions are available on the homepage www.fotbal.cz. Binding contract templates will be provided to each applicant who expresses interest in accordance with FAČR’s invitation to submit offers and signs a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with FAČR.
FAČR will not provide any additional information or media comments until the completion of the competitive bidding procedure.
